We’ll cruise along the highway, then take a charming local road to the stunning Monastery Manasija.
Founded in the 14th century by Despot Stefan, a Serbian prince and knight with a passion for art and culture, this incredible monastery is not only a masterpiece of medieval architecture but also a living testament to Serbian history. Its fortified walls still protect vibrant frescoes that have withstood the test of time for over 700 years.
Afterwards, we are going to Resava Cave, whose luxurious halls will leave you breathless. In this marvel of nature, you will encounter the magnificent forms of thousands of years old stalactites and stalagmites.
Our next stop takes us to Veliki Buk, one of the most stunning waterfalls in Serbia. Surrounded by nature’s beauty, you’ll enjoy in peaceful environment. This tour will be completed with an option of tasting the best specialty in the ethno restaurant – trout raised in a local fishpond.

Word of advice:
- Remember to dress decently when visiting monasteries and churches (skirts and trousers must be at least knee-length, no strapless tops, ie. shoulders must be covered, no flip flops)
- Credit cards are not accepted everywhere - bring cash
- Equipment: comfortable shoes, layered clothing according to the weather, umbrella or raincoat in case of rain or hat and sunscreen during summer months
